Long-Haired Dachshund
Open Dog
1st Larkin’s Larkhund Dark Knight (CW 10)
  A very stylish B/T with a clean tan. Very well proportioned and angulated with a beautiful balance. Excellent front construction with a prominent breast bone rarely seen on the continental longs. Beautiful neck and a proud head carriage. Correct, glossy coat quality but a bit heavily coated. Excellent. Green Star and Best of Breed.

1st Oxley’s Ch Owlery Lewis
  On the big side but still a stylish dog with a good ground clearance. Reachy neck and proud head carriage. Flowing movement, a bit untidy in the front. Excellent. Reserve Green Star.
2nd McFaul’s Ch & GB Ch Dachville Distant Dream
  On the big side and with a rather heavy look. Also heavily coated distracting from the desired elegance in outline. Excellent.

  On the large side and rather low to the ground but well constructed. Beautiful head. Well angulated with a beautiful topline. Correct, glossy coat but rather heavily coated. Excellent. Reserve Green Star.

  An elegant, well made bitch. Very good shoulder but a bit short in the upper arm. Beautiful topline and a good flowing movement, a touch wide coming to me. Correct amount of coat.. Excellent. Green Star.
2nd McFaul's Ch & GB Ch Dachville Perfect Blend (An Ch 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, CW 06, 07, 08, 09, 10)
  A stylish bitch with a heavier overall look. Rather deep chest, excellent rear. Moving with a good reach. The tan colour could be cleaner. Excellent coat quality and presentation. Excellent.

  A very strong head. Would like to see a lengthier neck. Heavy bone. Can move well if he decides to. Very Promising.

  Rather low to the ground and could show more neck. Well made rear and moving well. Rather heavily coated. Excellent.

  Excellent size and proportions. Beautiful neck and topline. Correct movement. Sufficient coat. The tan could be cleaner. Not the most masculine of champions but scoring on his overall type and balance. Excellent. Green Star.
2nd McDonnell's Ch Smartdac Black n Blazin (EJW 09)
  Rather profuse in tan and a roundish eye. A happy mover. Profuse coat. Excellent. Reserve Green Star.

  A very elegant B/T with a beautiful outline. Needs more time to mature and settle in movement but a promising young dog. Excellent.

  A stylish B/T dog with a lovely body shape and topline. The tan shold be cleaner. Hocks a bit high but moving well. Not the tightest of feet. Excellent. Reserve Green Star.

On the heavier side but very well constructed. Correct flowing movement.Needs to gain more self-confidence. Excellent.

  On the heavier side but still a handsome dog. Beautiful head. Sufficient rear angulation. Lovely dark red. Excellent.

  Rather deep in chest but pleasing in other aspects. Well constructed all through. The tan needs to be cleaner. Excellent. Reserve Green Star.

  Winner of a strong class, there's Very little to fault this smashing bitch. Very stylish outline well kept on the move. She could win anywhere. Excellent. Green Star, Best of Breed, Reserve Best in Show.

Crowley's Ch Hampdach Time to Dream at Donnamarc (CW 08, 09, 10)

  A bit deep but very well constructed. Correct movement. The tan needs to be cleaner. Rather fine coat on the ears today. Excellent.

  Excellent outline standing. Moving with a good drive but altering her balance slightly. Lovely, clean tan. Underline a bit heavy today. Excellent.

  Rather upright in shoulder spoiling the topline. Otherwise a nice specimen. Very good.

  Another one with a beautiful outline and good movement. Would like to see a longer and more elegant head. Excellent.

  On the big side but a beautiful type and correct proportions. Beautiful head and expression, good feet. Sufficient rear angulation.Would like to see a stronger drive. Excellent.

  A dapple with a nice, long head. Roundish eye. Good neck and a reasonable topline. Moving well. Less tuck-up would be to her advantage. Excellent.

  Rather deep in chest. Moving well. Would like to see slightly more angulation in the rear and a more elegant head. Excellent.

  Rather low to the ground with a deep chest. Moving reasonably well. Beautiful colour. Roundish eye. Excellent.

  A well balanced dog presented in excellent condition. Compact build, deep chest. An energetic mover. The head is not his forte with the small ears and the round eyes distracting from the desired expression. Reserve Green Star.

  A pale red with excellent proportions and a good ground clearance. Beautiful head and expression, good neck and topline. Well bodied and with a correct movement.

Rather deep chest but very typical front construction with a prominent breastbone. Needs to develop in the rear to match the front. Harsh coat. Very promising.
